Intelligent conversation (Humour)

Today, at last, I found intelligent conversation; what a breath of fresh air it is!

Lately I’ve felt like everyone around me were idiots… and the arguments; just ridiculous. No matter what the topic, their comments were predictable, banal, boring. I was beginning to think it was all a waste of time.

Then, today, out of the blue, intelligent conversation arrived, in a most unexpected way, then came with me while I did the chores. I was so excited, I even ventured into normally forbidden territories aka politics and religion. Not only did we agree on everything, but it also revealed a delightful sense of humour. I found myself chuckling; it quite lightened my day.

Yep, it may have been unexpected, but I’ve learned an important lesson… if you want truly intelligent conversation, nothing beats talking to yourself!
